Editorial Reviews

Unmani's compelling new book, Die to Love, points fearlessly > to the truth of who you really are. With courage and clarity, she addresses some of life's greatest mysteries like ego, love, surrender and death. This is a focused and ruthless journey into looking at the core questions of what it means to be fully human. Die to Love rings with a Truth that will surely be savored by the longing Heart. Highly recommended. (Chuck Hillig, Author of Enlightenment for Beginners, Seeds for the Soul, The Way IT Is, Looking for God: Seeing the Whole in One and The Magic King.)

9 of 9 people found the following review helpful By Katie Davis on January 9, 2012
Format: Paperback
"Die to Love" by Unmani directly points to the end of the search for spiritual awakening or truth. The author is addressing the compelling question, "Who are you really?" Do you really want to know? The voice speaks eloquently with both confidence and enthusiasm, while remaining ruthlessly honest. These words that exemplify a deeply contemplative life are shared with clarity and wisdom.

Unmani skillfully dissects the nature of ego and suggests that the end of ego's hope is truly demonstrating a readiness to die. With willingness and courage, there is a leap into the unknown that proves to be the beginning of a new life. The revelation is that death by love is really a "return" to love beyond measure, innocence and extraordinary freedom. The book also traverses the landscapes of longing, the nature of thought, surrender, conditional and unconditional love, intimacy, sensuality, compassion and more. I recommend that you accept Unmani's lucid invitation to "Die to Love." I enjoyed the read and its uncompromising message.

So many books focused on spiritually are based on various practices, beliefs, a course of life which will lead to self realization, enlightenment, whatever we want to call it. Die to Love is unique in my reading experience; so lovely, calm, infinitely reassuring. Do yourself the favor you deserve... you're reading this now because you need this book!
