I'm not sure i'd recommend this unless you have very good German. The classical vocabulary is hard, but there is enough heart on sleeve theatricality to keep one absorbed. It's a bit like giving the bible 2 stars, but this assessment is made as someone who is definitely not bilingual, but has reasonable German. By the way, I think that the Verdi opera "I Masnadieri" is based on this play.

Schiller was one of the best know authors ever, and his writings, the say, equals that of Goethe.
