I love this stuff. I use it to prevent bruising and swelling. For instance, I use it immediately if I injure/bruise myself to relieve the pain and prevent swelling. In addition, I use it after I have blood taken to prevent bruising from the needle and to help with the pain in my arm. It also helps with sore and tight muscles. Great to massage into the area. In fact, I massage in on my hands and fingers when they ache from the dampness or too much computer use. It does a lot more too as described below from various websites.

Die Da Wan Hua Oil is an excellent liniment for injuries where a hardened mass has formed, and is also applied to traumatic swelling, infected burns and open wounds.
Because there is no alcohol, it can be applied to open wounds.

TCM: Invigorates blood, breaks blood stasis, disperses swelling, cools blood, stops bleeding, relieves pain. Use for traumatic injury causing swelling, bruising. Also for septic and necrotic infection following an open wound. Can be applied to fractures, burns, and bruises. Also for torn or inflamed ligaments, with or without swelling.
