This book which is in reality a photo album covers the weapons, uniforms and equipment of the German Wehrmacht in World War II.
The first volume deals with over three dozen infantry assult weapons including the Mk b-42, P-38, P.P.K., MG-42, MP-28/11, to name a few There are great closeups in colour of surviving weapons and the book is further illustrated with hundreds of black and white wartime photos with captions to explain each particular weapon. The captions are able to explain each particular weapon but do not go into great detail, there are other books out there that do. The book is a very easy read and is a large format book which has been printed on high quality coated paper for excellent photo reproduction. The reader is able to get a good understanding of each particular weapon from the captions provided and each additional photo provides further information.
