About the Author

Jack Wallen has a goal -- to become the Zombie King. He won't do that by dining on the brains of helpless victims. Instead he will write and write until his fingers and mind are nothing but meat for the beasts. During that time Jack will produce works of zombie fiction that are both enjoyable and cringe-worthy.

Of course, being of the insane writer clan, Jack isn't just happy with the penning of zombie fiction. Oh no, the nightmare does not end there. Like the late, great Freddy Mercury, Jack wants it all -- so, he will continue writing his Fringe Killer series as well as his joyous celebration of all things diverse -- Shero.

For his inspiration to begin reading and writing, Jack thanks the ever-incredible Clive Barker for penning in a genre with words of grace and horror.

Still good as the others but I didn't like it from the Dr.s point of view. I like it when Bethany is the narrator. Book one Jacob narrated. Books 2,& 4 are from Bethany's narrative. I about to start book five if it's out there. I love the way Jack writes. First this a very plausible possibility so it makes the story more real. It's not for the faint hearted. If you want zombie gore you will definitely get that in his books. There is humor. Then dark humor. There is sadness as he hold nothing back and leading character can. It's the dust anytime, which is why it's easy to get hooked and not stop reading. You stay on the edge of your seat praying through each chapter if you have a character you are rooting for. I loved book one and two, I hung I. With book three because it explained everything. Then the action kicked back to high gear at the end so I had to go straight I to book 4 and was not disappointed. So I have this one a little lower rate, it all the rest are 5 stars. If you are a zombie fan then you have to have these in your collection. I've got my son hooked on them too. So I highly recommend the whole Zombie set by Jack Wallen he has excellent story telling skills. Worth every kindle price and paperback price that I send to my son. That's how much I love these books. I buy the kindle version and the paperback as gifts.

I have to say this final book really kept my attention. While through the first two books you get a prospective from on character this time you get two. One that you like and one well I didn't care for at all.

Their is not much as far as negatives I can go with on this book. I would have to say the only thing is that I would have liked to see more of the characters on the wrong side of humanity. I would have also like to have seen more interaction with the main character of the last book with the main character in this book. I must admit that the main female character in this book I could not find myself to fully like. While er actions were brave, it was her actions that allowed us to have these books.

The ending of this book was very dramatic and it pained me to see how it ended. I was hoping for something a bit nicer, but I guess I should not have expected a clean- cut ending. But a ending that leaves you think and wonder of the future of the tale is always a great one as well.

Reading through the first two books and making it to the end you will be pleased throughout the entireset. By far some of the best books of this genre i've read in a very long time.

I have read all 3 books and also the short story Zombie Radio and i believe Jacks story to be very unique and i very much enjoyed reading them except... the only complaint i have is that there are several characters points of view depicted and yet every character seems to view and describe what they are viewing in the same unique language which can get very old when you read all four books in a row. I sure as heck dont know more than 1 person who might use the term Brain Pan endgame or maw and i dont even think it would be the same person to use these terms let alone all of his characters using thes unique phrases as well as describing the zombies and their situations in the same creative yet over used terms. I do have to admit though that it was not until this last part of the trilogy that it truly got to me but over all i very much enjoyed the trilogy and do recommend it for those looking for a new twist on an old zombie tale.

Jack Wallen puts an interesting spin on the zombie apocalypse. I truly enjoy reading the books in this series.

Saddened by the loss of some terrific characters in this segment of the series though. I truly hope that Lie Zombie Lie brings forth some new awesome characters.

Just downloaded that one and I am headed off with my hot cocoa to start it now!

The series keeps getting better. I love how the author talks about such scientific stuff but in a way the scientifically stupid such as myself can understand. ;) Each book carries the story forward, but you always get inside a new character's head, and meet new intriguing characters. It definitely keeps things interesting.

This is one of the most original zombie series I've ever read. I don't want to give anything away but it doesn't disappoint and I can't wait for more! It has suspense, mystery, gore, humor, and very lovable character that you want to slap upside the head. Highly recommend!
