This book is full of past to present day photos of the Mission Beach area, Belmont Park, and the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. A great book for all San Diego History and Roller Coaster buffs.

A great book about a rare subject,

This book is not widely available but it is a real gem, especially from this first printing! It's great that Amazon is now carrying it. I was lucky enough to get a personal, signed copy from the author and really enjoyed it. It is well written and thoroughly researched. Even if you're not from San Diego, you will enjoy this story about the making, unmaking, and revival of a historic roller coaster. So many authors overlook good topics right near their homes, but this author found a great story and stuck with it. I hope he rolls out another project soon.
