Lots of pictures with captions on the San Diego Police. Not much else, but the photos are a great snapshot of the past. If you're interested in police history you will find this of interest.

The author is an avid writer and accomplished author. As a thirty year veteran of this department I have read this book cover to cover and found it to be a very detailed and enlightening story of the SDPD. A very good read.
