This is the best of every other Yooper cassette available. Normally only available in the UP but now here. Includes the classic "Second week of deer camp I, II. Also your all time "yooper" christmas classics. If your into Da Yoopers u beter put on ur swampers an get this one.

My mom grew up in northern Wisconsin, but now we-"we" being my mom, my dad, my brother who's at college, and me- live in northern Virginia. We visit there a lot. I have had this CD for a very long time, and it is one of my favorite disks. Every time I listen to the Cow Pie Song, I crack up. Sadly though, many of my East-coast friends just don't appreciate the live of a Yooper. So, if your from the U.P.,or you love potty humor, this is a great buy. But if you can't stand hearing songs about the second week of deer camp and beer runs, then this is not for you.

ya, da yoopers show everyone dat us yoopers aren't as lathargic as everyone thinks we are,eh. this band shows not only the trolls dat live under the bridge but the whole world dat yoopers are extremely productive. ya. an dis cd is a collection of da greatest of their songs, eh. so if you think utterwise then don't go complainin to us yoopers, eh, cause we don't want ta hear it. One of the best CDs around. I love it because I am a Yooper and I grew up listening to da guys. Yoopers are from the upper peninsula of Michigan, not Wisconsin, for those of you who don't know. They sing about the way of life up here in da U.P. Can't find this way of life anywhere else but in God's Country.

I had been looking for this CD since someone played it at our hunting camp many years ago. It is absolutely awesome! A lot of laughs for the money!

This album has some really funny stuff on it... Well-worth the $10 or so that I paid for it new!

Bought this CD because of 1 song - "The Second Week of Deer Camp".
First heard it about 10 years ago, a local radio station started playing it during the hunting and holiday seasons. Love it, too funneeeee! Am still getting familiar with the other numbers on the CD, but I don't think anything can beat ".....Deer Camp".

This group is one that always brings back hilarious memories of my younger brother and I belting out these songs on long car trips.

And yes, the UP is part of Michigan (sadly), but I can vouch for the fact that Yoopers sometimes migrate, and can occasionally be spotted as far south as south-central WI. (Ahh, a Christmas miracle, being towed out of a ditch in a snowstorm by people with the accent from God's Country.)

Great music, but not everyone will appreciate it. Their loss.

An excellent CD. The music is good, and it's just a lot of fun to listen to. I would strongly recomend it! This is the U.P. of Michigan and northern Wisconsin personified! I loved it!

Da Yoopers are great and funny singers, with their greatest hits "Second Week of Dear Camp," "A Dog Named Zippo," and "Rusty Chevrolet!" Speaking of Rusty Chevrolet, that is a great Christmas song that you don't hear everyday. This CD is recommended for Christmas as a gift.
