Right away, I'll tell you that I'm not a big fan of this software. The program is remarkable in that it has thousands of foods available to choose from when entering daily intakes. However, the descriptions for these food items are difficult to distinguish (i.e. fresh vs canned vs frozen, etc).

While the user interface is mediocre, entering your own information from existing food packages is nearly impossible. The units allowed to be entered into the software do not match what is actually on the food packages. For example, any food package lists vitamin A as a percentage of your daily intake while Diet Analysis Plus wants you to enter this value in milligrams. There is no way to convert between values like these! Your only option is to leave the value blank, which means your analysis for that particular day will be unusuable.

Finally, the report function is well-managed, easy to interpret, and useful when looking at a person's daily intake for evaluation.

I have never tried the online version, but I wonder if it is substantially different and these errors are not a problem.
