Okay but database is useless,

I have been using this product for about a week and it is easy enough to use and inexpensive. It has a major drawback with the database in that the amounts of food to chose from are for the most part useless. For example I was looking for New York strip steak and I could chose from 3oz or 1 piece. Okay I understand 3 oz but what is one piece, 6oz or 16oz? The good thing is that you can enter your own foods by yourself. I wouldn't recoomend this product because of this short fall.

I checked out the reviews online and they were great, so instead of looking on here, I didn't. I have tried several online free services and after using FitDay (purchased version) I wish I had just stayed with Myfitnesspal or one of the others. I didn't keep using FitDay because what you buy is what you get, which is great, but if you've had it for a couple of years, you have to buy a newer version (i.e. updated food list) for full price. Anyway, I purchased Dietmaster 2100 because in the video demo it looked like it was user friendly and great database. Well, I started using it and it isn't what I consider user friendly. Maybe because I have used other products. The food database is hard to find even simple things like "shredded cheese". If you don't word things correctly, it won't find your food. It does give you the reports and you can log in your exercise and measurements, but if I could, I would return it. HOWEVER, you cannot return the item if you don't like it, so make sure it's what you want. I wasted $25.
