Amazingly, this stuff works great. I get a hangover after one drink, and RU 21 allows me to have a second without the resulting hangover.

I'm somebody (like most Asians & Native Americans) that can't adequately metabolize alcohol. Specifically, the liver is supposed to turn alcohol (ethanol) into acetaldehyde, & acetaldehyde into acetic acid, which is excreted when you pee pee. When you have a hangover, you have too much acetaldeyhde in your system; since I don't effectively metabolize alcohol from the start, I have hangover symptoms almost immediately, namely headache, itchy hands & feet, red (flushed) face, etc. This RU 21, like similar supplements (e.g. Chaser) work well for me, thus I can have drinks with no immediate symptoms, nor a hangover the following day. To sum, this product helps you metabolize alcohol more efficiently, & I recommend it!

I've been taking RU-21 for a few years, and I keep coming back. If you take as directed, you'll find lower incidence of hangover symptoms like headache, nausea, etc. Since I'm usually a moderate drinker, I don't take them everytime I have 1 or 2 drinks, but if I know I'll be indulging a bit more, I make SURE and take the RU-21 so I can still enjoy myself and not regret it the next morning. I also found this to be effective for eliminating the headache I tend to get after drinking some locally brewed microbrews which is great since I like to try the local seasonal brews. I take 2 before I start drinking, 1 with each drink after that and then 2 at the end of the evening for good measure.

This definitely helps with the headache from a hangover. We (wife & I) take 2 before we drink and 2 when we are done. Doesn't eliminate the morning after headache but definitely reduces it. We also take Drinkin' Mate after we are done drinking. This product is INCREDIBLE for naseau from a hangover. We are getting up there in years and the combination of these products helps make drinking more enjoyable.
