The calendar is a fundraiser by the Stade Francais Club (French rugby squad) for a program for eight- to twelve-year-old rugby players. Pix are advertised as black-and-white but they have more of a bluish-gray tint. As for the actual calendar part, there is no calendar grid, the dates are in small print in the lower-right corner, and each date is listed in French and English. Example: "12 L/M" for "12 Lundi/Monday". The calendar part does NOT interfere with the photos; each photo lists only about two weeks of dates.

This is a spectacular calendar filled with an exceptionally beautiful collection of images. I really like how the dates of the calendar are very subtle; with a lay-over print only showing half a month of dates per page. No one would think to write on this calendar! The pages can be easily removed (spiral) and are ready for framing thanks to the luxury paper of the duo-tone prints. A great addition for your art collection or an excellent gift for the person whom has everything.

Dee-lish!! I just received my Dieux Du Stade 2006 calendar. How can that team have so many hot men?! I really love that they included their gorgeous European colleagues too- so hot!! Thank you Amazon!

This calendar is pretty flawless. Cheesy nude calendars are very 1985, but this series is a way to get the nudity without feeling like a sleazeball. Beautiful photography and it's always useful to break down the stereotypes of masculinity. I mentioned it on my Typepad blog "Boy Culture" and got lots of pings. Everyone loves it. If it's the kind of calendar that you THINK you might like, you will like it.
