This book is very entertaining, and interesting. A "fiction based on fact" book it has everything: romance, adventure, tragedy, intrigue. I hated to see it end. It would make a great movie since it has lots of human interest and would photograph well, based on the vivid descriptions of Brazil. Bottom line: it's a great story with lots of history and I recommend it whole heartedly.
