When I read this book, I felt I was not alone. Raising a child with special needs it is not easy because people do not understand the difficulties and the challenges for the care giver and the differently abled child. Knowing that your feelings and thoughts are shared by many others is encouraging.
A honest and down to earth account of the struggles, hopes and triumphs of the family and the differently abled child, this book will inspire, guide and help parents and care givers. It certanly did that for me and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I love this book!!! As a mother of a prematurely born son(25 wks) who has limitations, it is both empowering and comforting. It is soooo practical. Finally, a book with authors that openly share real life situations. It is concise and easy to read. I think this book should also be read by everyone who loves and cares for a differently abled person. It will help the family get on the same page while limiting conflict. It brings the focus to the person. A must buy. Don't just read. Read and encourage friends and family to buy and do the same. You will not regret it!!!
