A Way With Words,
By Mary Frye Alexander (Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Difficult Wheel (Paperback)
Adcock's poetic enlightenment was apparent immediately. She caught me with the first line, "The poets have gone out looking for God again," beginning the poem "Prophecy." Her poetry, the word choices that moved me and sounded so good when read aloud, called me forward and I just rode the tide. The theme of this work, the passage of time, was clear, and her words well demonstrated her range, her ability to stretch her creative muscle.
