As a huge Webster fan I have well over a hundred CD's & LP's of his. The version of Stompy Joe on this set is worth the price of the entire box, consider every other track a bonus!!

Ben Webster was one of the true giants of the tenor sax. He actually defined the instrument for jazz. This collection is amazing. Not only does it feature some of Ben's best solos and small group work, it even features some of his rarely heard stride piano efforts. For those of us who love this man and his work, this is collection is a fantastic find. By all means, add Dig Ben to your collection.
