Very complete, much better than the earlier version. Has over twice as many guns shown. Very clear and helpful when disassembling. Would recomend it to anyone who likes to take their guns apart, and then reassemble them correctly.

This is a well written book with good illustrations. It would have helped to show the index so one could tell which rifles are and are not included.

This is a GREAT book for the .22 Rimfire rifle owner / collector. There are some .22 Rimfire rifles covered I'll never see, but the ones I own are covered quite well. I'd highly recommend this book as a good reference starting point for assembling / disassembling your .22 Rimfire rifle(s).

This should be in the library of every .22 owner in America.
Concise, with easy to follow instructions, it is exactly what a rimfire user needs to disassemble his weapon for cleaning or repair.

This book is just like the others in the series. The author does a pretty good job of describing the steps necessary to completely disassemble the rifles. I say "pretty good" because there are instances where different techniques might be better. But anyone who thinks they have the mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble firearms will find those. The pictures are very good, and a great resource for figuring out how those parts are supposed to line-up. The inclusion of reassembly hints can really get you through some situations that would be very frustrating otherwise. The biggest downside to this reference is that some fairly popular models of rifle are NOT included. However, this edition is MUCH better than its predecessors in this respect. I hope for the sake of anyone else looking to buy this book that it goes back into print.

WAS HOPING FOR MORE MODERN GUN INFORMATION, WILL NEVER SEE MANY OF THESE ANITQUES, GOOD BOOK NOT WHAT I NEEDED.

I NEEDED THIS BOOK TO HELP ME PUT A RIFLE BACK TOGETHER AND IT HAS A LOT OF GOOD INFO IN IT
