This is very helpful for children with lactose intolerence. While my daughter can still only eat/drink lactose free products, this helps with incidental milk products in other things she may eat. It does not however let her eat anything she wants. She has been intolerant since switching to milk at age 1 and this product has really helped. She likes the taste and I feel comfortable occasionally giving her 2 a day. I would have given it 5 stars but I didn't want everyone to think it is a cure all but it is a big help.

When my 6 year old son recently became lactose intolerant I decided to search the internet for a good product to help him. He loves milk and I didn't want him to go without his milk, and the calcium. I saw the other great reviews about this Digestive Advantage product and decided to try it. The results were amazing! From the very first dose his diarrhea and stomach pain stopped. I followed the directions on the box, which say to give two pills the first two days and then one pill each day after. He loves taking the pills, they taste great and he knows how much better they make him feel. I found that he has to take them first thing in the morning or they don't work as well. He actually takes the pill while drinking a glass of chocolate milk and the milk doesn't bother him! I try to make sure he never misses a dose, because missing one day will cause his diarrhea to return by evening.

My daughter began having severe stomachaches, cramps, bloating and sometimes nausea and vomiting when she was around 2 years old. I took her to the pediatrician and they tested her for an ulcer and several other things but found no reason for her digestive issues. I decided to do my own detective work and noted that every every time she would eat ice cream, my daughter would complain of a tummyache and either throw up or just not feel well. I decided to look for something that she could take in a chewable form since she was unable to swallow large tablets. At first I could only find lactose intolerance medicine in capsule form.

I happened to discover this product while out shopping one day at my local WalMart. I immediately bought several boxes and gave my daughter her first dose that very evening. Her symptoms seemed to disappear. After just a few days, she stopped complaining of stomach pain and now she's 11 years old and we've been giving her the chewable lactose advantage tablets every morning before she goes to school and she doesn't seem to have had any more stomach issues from eating dairy products. We love it! She loves it!!! It's been a wonderful product.
