Chronic Constipation,

Digestive Advantage Daily Dietary Management of Constipation Capsules, 30-Count Boxes (Pack of 2)I have suffered from chronic constipation for over 45 years and with the associated symtoms of anxiety, lack of energy, abdominal discomfort, and bloating. Nothing seemed to help until I tried this product approximately 2 months ago. Constipation and its associated symptoms seem to be a thing of the past. It works, and my suffering is now hopefully over forever. What a wonderful feeling. It has given me a new lease on life, and I highly reccomend it.

I used this product for 3 1/2 months before realizing that one of its ingredients, Konjac Glucomannan, was making me ill. Wasted many, many hours of my life and spent thousands of dollars on medical bills trying to determine what was causing the illness. Stopped taking the product and the symptoms disappeared.
From WebMD: "Glucomannan. Made from the root of Amorphophallus Konjac, glucomannan is said to contribute to weight loss by delaying the absorption of glucose from the intestines. Small limited studies have shown glucomannan to be effective in decreasing body weight. This effect is believed to be due to a "feeling of fullness" which may be due to the swelling of the glucomannan in the gut once it has been exposed to liquids. However, esophageal obstruction has been reported in several people taking glucomannan. Glucomannan and glucomannan-containing products have been banned in several countries due to the high incidence of gastrointestinal obstruction. Glucomannan should not be used by people with a previous history of gastrointestinal obstruction, and caution should be used in diabetics."

The name of the company is Ganeden Biotech, Inc. They advertise the product I ordered on-line as DAILY CONSTIPATION FORMULA, revolutionary, for daily regularity. This suggests the product suppose to be a good new (revolutionary)remedy for constipation. Only when I received my order I saw what this actually was: one of many probiotics, containing millions of "friendly" bakterias. The advertising is misleading,to say the least. They must advertise the product for what it really is. Otherwise it is a fraud. Of course the Company offers to return the product to the manufacturer if the customer is not satisfied. But this means a trip to the post office, and time, and more money to pay for shipping it back. I think, amazon.com has to apply some strong mesures to prevent this from happening. I'm not against probiotics, but this is not what I was going to order. And the description of the product is clearly misleading. Big disappointment. Thanks, Bella Best.

Prompt shipping. Quantity was listed incorrectly, but when I called it to the attention of vendor they corrected the error and adjusted the price to my satisfaction.
