I can't believe how soon I got relief, due to the fact that I have only been on it a short while. I am on alot of medications for other health problems, and this does NOT interract with the prescriptions. My "running to the bathroom" has subsided, but not "fixed" yet. The information on and in the box does tell you that it takes about a week to tell a major difference. I also like the fact that it is putting the natural enzymes back into the body that a person's intestines lack.

Give it a try before you go to prescription; be patient and let it work before you judge.

I have used the digestive advantage for a long time. I was taking the chewable ones until resently when they changed all their formulas. I recieved these capsels and had nothing but problems for 2 weeks. Then my daughter who works in the pharmacy suggested I pour them out of the capsul and I have had better luck with them. They don't work as well as the chewable but since they are no longer available these will have to do.

I have been taking this stuff for 6 or 8 months and it reduces the gas problem by about 80 percent.

I started taking one pill per day for a few weeks. No help. Changed to two pills taken at the same time. No help. Then changed to taking one in the morning and one in the evening. This cut the gas considerably. If I miss one pill during the day I go back to a day of gas.

A few months ago I started again taking fiber powder twice a day. This now helps with the diarrhea. I used to try fiber for months at a time with no effect.

I love this stuff. I have been taking it for over a year now and it makes me feel so much better. I used to have terrible gas and bloating, which rarely happens any more. I don't like to run out of this stuff, because when I do the symptoms re-appear. I am giving it 4 stars, because I occassionally still get symptoms, but it is rare.

Digestive Advantage for Irritable Bowel Syndrome is an answer to my prayers. I had alternating symptoms of diarrhea and constipation. I have been to three gastroenterologists but nothing seemed to help me. One day I saw this product on the store shelf and decided to try it. My symptoms have almost completely gone away. It is very seldom that I have any irritable bowel symptoms. Every night I take one of these tablets and I drink one dosage of Metamucil. It is wonderful! I have never felt better.

From the first day, Digestive Advantage IBS has helped me. I am no longer nervous when I have to go anywhere and am not always looking for the bathroom. I love this product!

I was suffering from digestive problems for eight years. It was very uncomfortable. I was delighted to find a product that settled me down. I was normal again. I would have been glad to pay the price for the peace of mind and comfort.

Then, I tried this product and it worked just as well. The cost was 1/4 the cost. So, I was happy to find a solution at 1/4 the cost...Don't get me wrong. Both worked great but his was lower cost.

Works as advertised. But when taking so much other stuff, it may be difficult to actually pin down which one is 5 stars, as they may be working 'Synergistically' in alleviating the problem.

I've used this product for over a year now, and it has really controlled my IBS! I'd recommend it to anyone with this problem!

possibly a good item (I'm about to try it) but you can find it cheaper elsewhere. Search around before you buy, I found it cheaper at walgreens (in person).
