I've tried Lactase, which helps a little, and Dairy Care, which actually upset my stomach, and on a whim tried Digestive Advantage. I was surprised to feel no discomfort and over the past 4 weeks have tried ice cream, pizza, lasagna, buttered bread, cheese ravioli, pasta, milk chocolate, cakes, etc. with absolutely no problem. This product has changed my life. It has also relieved almost all IBS symptoms on top of that!

This product works - period. If that does not convince you, then here is my story.

I am lactose intollerant. I love ice cream and pizza. I used Lactaid, but never was satisfied with the results. You never knew what would happen.

I started taking this product several years ago, and it changed how I eat. I take a pill in the morning with breakfast, and I don't worry about what I eat the rest of the day. Even double cheese pizza doesn't cause problems. I can take a pill with pizza or ice cream, but more often than not, I forget - and I still don't have problems.

If you want to stop running to the bathroom, and get rid of the gas pains, buy a box. You will be happy you did.

This product absolutely changed my life. I started to be lactose intolerant 8 years ago and was completely reliant on Lactaid. As most people who suffer from lactose intolerance - I had to estimate how many pills to bring with me for vacation or even for the day. I had little stashes of pills at everyone's house and in everyone's car. It was getting completely insane. I started to take calcium pills at 16 b/c I started to avoid milk products all together if I didn't have pills.

My mother found a coupon for this product in a grocery store circular and I decided it was worth a shot and the rest is history. One pill and I am all set for the day!

I can't say enough about it, plus Amazon makes it so simple to stock up and save a few bucks.

As a person with lactose intolerance, I am resigned to having to take a pill or avoid dairy products altogether. Since I enjoy eating, I chose to take lactase pill(s) before a meal, not knowing I had any other option. However, I also needed a pill for desserts/snacks like ice cream, so I ended up taking 3 or 4 lactase pills on a given day. Plus I always needed to keep those pills handy.

This product has changed all of that. I take one pill a day every morning and I'm good for the rest of the day! You can supplement with lactase pills if you think you're going to test the limits on occasion. And if you work for a company with a flex spending health care account, it qualifies for reimbursement.

What's the difference? The lactase pills provide the lactase enzyme that breaks down the lactose, but it is not in your system very long, so that's why you would need it every time you have dairy. This product uses a lactic acid bacterium (probiotic) which is able to last for about a day in your system with the same results.

I highly recommend that you try it if the concept sounds appealing to you. The manufacturer's site will send some free samples, or if you can't wait, the product has a satisfaction guarantee.

I could be a commercial for this product--it literally has changed my life. Before it, I couldn't even have a splash of milk in my coffee, and now, just by taking it once a day, I can have milkshakes, pizza--anything I want, anytime I want--I don't even think about it. I used to carry Lactaid with me, and sometimes it would work, but not always. This works. All the time. I can't say enough good things about it, and recommend it to all of my friends and family.

Digestive Advantage's Lactose Intolerence Tablets REALLY work. One tablet per day and dairy foods are again in my diet. Prior to using Digestive Advantage's Lactose Intolerence Tablets I had to either avoid dairy altogether or use the per instance tablets where you have to guess, "Do I take 1,2, or 3 tablets" and hope you guessed right. Even then a reaction may still occur. With Digestive Advantage's Lactose Intolerence Tablets there is no guessing. They work! Thank you Digestive Advantage!

I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance in my early 20's. Over the past 8 years it's gotten worse. To the point that even two ULTRA strength lactaid pills were not working if I ate a decent amount of dairy. It's not fun sitting on the toilet when you're visiting other people's houses for dinner!

Digestive advantage has given me confidence again! I take one in the morning and then if I'm having a large amount of dairy for dinner I'll take another just before. Most people (including my 6yo daughter) only need the one pill in the morning though.

Had developed lactose intolerance over the past six months. Tried the tablets that you take prior to eating/drinking, but those hardly worked at all.

This product has worked very well, pretty much eliminating the problem, though I have to take two tablets a day, not one, on an ONGOING basis. Their directions indicate some people need to take two on an ongoing basis, not one. As someone who has thoroughly enjoyed milk and ice cream all my life, the additional cost is well worth not being miserable so much of the time.

My son is severely lactose intollerant and has always had to go the nurses office for a Lactaid pill whenever there is a snack at school. Not only does Digestive advantage last all day, but it actually is much more effective... no more upset stomachs! This offering by Amazon is at a great price; if you spend a few more dollars and take advantage of free shipping, it is like getting one box almost free (compared to what you pay in the store). Use to take Lactaid a few times a day, but this is a once a day pill. Works great. This was the cheapest price I could find on the internet.
