Also in the book, she states, that until age 7 months, infants can't break down any sugar besides breast milk. At 7 months, they should be able to break down lactose but until age three no other sugars are digestible. She never expanded on what she meant by that. Does she mean kids can't break down fructose or sucrose, thus they should avoid them, or should they have enzymes to help. It was a really odd misplaced fact and I just wish she explained it better.
The other thing that I would have liked explained what she recommended to eat steamed green (daikon radish) daily. I guess I don't know why they have to be steamed. I know some caretenoids are better absorbed warm but I didn't know what this was all about.
