CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
The Diggin Hop Hop Trampoline is an ideal first trampoline for little ones. Kids can hop and bounce on the trampoline's mesh surface while steadying themselves with the easy-to-grip safety bar. Recommended for children 12 months and older, the Hip Hop Trampoline helps children to build strength and coordination while having fun.
Easy and Quick Assembly Gets Kids Bouncing Fast
With a simple design and sturdy metal base, the Hop Hop Trampoline is simple to construct. Four strong legs bolt together to suspend the mesh trampoline, and an included wrench ensures all the pieces fit together securely. The base is covered in soft foam padding to make sure your child is safe, and the legs are capped with rubber feet, so you can use the Hop Hop Trampoline both indoors and outdoors.
Easy-to-Grip Bar Enables Safe Jumping
Kids will enjoy the springy, bouncy action of the mesh trampoline. Jumping is an excellent way for kids to build strength and to improve both balance and coordination. An easy-to-grip rubber bar is securely attached to the base of the trampoline to help kids steady themselves while they happily bounce.
Hours of Hopping Fun
Our testers found the Hop Hop Trampoline to be a simple, fun way for kids to be active. The straightforward construction makes building the trampoline easy, and it can be taken apart quickly for storage. The trampoline mechanism doesn't use springs, so it is less bouncy than larger trampolines, but our testers found it to be perfect for young children who like to bounce and hop. The foam-covered frame and soft rubber handle are welcome safety features.

First assembly is not easy, it take a lot of time. It comes with a tool but it is so flimsy, you are better off using your own tools. The instructions are terrible along with the diagrams. I literally was still looking at it an hour later with parts all over the floor and have been building things for almost 25 years. When I completed one part and would move onto the next, it failed to mention to not tighten an area or to do another step first so I would have to undo a lot of what I did. Inserting the handle into the frame was so difficult! I had to borrow a friend to help me hold it, squeeze it together, and then line it up. By far the worse instructions and diagrams I have read.
Once it was `built' it was not good quality. After spending so much time building it I was hoping to see it is action. Sadly, it does not stay level on the floor and when my daughter climbs on it, it is unbalanced. I have tried to adjust the parts but it does not help. As far the jumping part, not much there either, it barely bounces up and down. It is more off balanced than it is bounces and that is sad. My daughter was so excited when I put it on the ground but after seeing her eyes get fearful from the lack of sturdiness and lack of bounce, she stays away from it.
It states it makes for easy storage; it could be if made differently. I have a lot of storage room but it would be nice if the grip handle folded down for easier storage. The fact that the grip handle is not adjustable either was surprising. I thought it might have a few different heights since it is for a wide range of young children.Read more ›
Another problem with this piece of junk is the assembly! It claims it's easy to assemble, but I spent over an hour putting it together and it was extremely frustrating. The directions are terrible and leave information out and the diagrams were no help either. It came with a tool to use, but it was so cheap, so I had to use my own tools to put it together. For the price ($85) you should just put it towards buying a real trampoline that actually bounces. Not impressed at all....
Edit - less then three months later, the yellow mesh tore off in one place, and it is unraveling, the hole is big enough for a child's foot to go through. There is just one single line of stitching attaching the yellow mesh to the other part, and the seam allowance is about an inch. Although they did sew on a binding on the mesh's edge, it is just quarter inch binding, and all this completely inadequate considering the mesh has such large gauge. Looks like the trampoline was good a long as our son refused to play with it. As soon as he started actually using it, it broke in just couple of days.
Update: It's been a year since we purchased this. My daughter still loves bouncing on it but she has started using the bar to flip on. It has yet to fall over while she is doing it, and my 6 year old son also likes suspending his weight on the bar. The mesh has not torn, and it is used daily. Right now all 4 rubber stoppers are missing, but since it is small enough to be in the living room with the carpet it has not been a bad thing. We've made it a game to find all 4 rubber bottoms once a week, as they always end up in the toy bins. I'm still happy with this purchase. I wanted something small that I didn't need to worry about breaking and it's holding up just fine.
