The idea of this toy is great. It is not as sturdy as I had hoped, especially for the price. Hopefully it will hold up better than it looks. We've only had it a couple of days and it was bought for an 11 yr old so I am concerned about the durability.

My son is an absolute basketball fanatic! and he will make the game out of anything (including a cardboard box taped up on the wall) I thought this toy would be a good rainy day alturnitive for his bedroom.. well I was wrong, it was cool for him at first, but than again it was better than a box, but the fans are load on it, and you don't have to options to turn off the sound effects, witch got his big brother made when he tried to watch some TV along while he played with it, you can not play it when its not turned on b/c it won't give the ball back, well once it ran out of batteries, the boys of course tried to alter the toy and now it is broken so sorry to say it but it's not a lasting toy.

This is a great, fun idea for a toy. I feel it isn't very durable but it's extremily fun and enjoyable. The voice system that is supposed to cheer you on and create sound effects can't be heard over the extremely loud motor. But over all I think this is an idea that kids will love.
