I have been using this for 4 months now (bought it at Discovery Chanel store before Amazon has it). I use it regularly, it is reliable, the motor is strong, it also comes with recorded voices. Overall it is fund and I really enjoy it. I want to buy another one to play with the kids. So I just happen to read the review to see what others thought about this product. Very disappointed to see a low grade on this item. Many say it is not stable, it is flimsy, and it is cheap. I understand what they said. But all of their frustrations are resolved by adding 1 or 2 screws to the installation. Just screw it to the door or the wall people! It is a good price for what it can do. We as consumers sometimes need to fill in our part where it is needed so we don't have to pay $100 for something like this.

Got for our 2 and 5 year old. It is way too noisy. We're returning. No way can you stay in the room when this is on. Also, the construction is flimsy.

The product worked as advertised but I thought the overall construction was pretty cheap. The motor that shoots the ball back to the player was extremely noisy. The on/off switch didn't want to stay in the off position. A little tinkering with the switch fixed that. But the grandsons had a great time with it. I would recommend putting this toy in a basement or back room otherwise the motor noise becomes REALLY annoying.

I would not recommend this product, had it on for less than 5 minutes and the motor stopped shooting the ball back. Very cheaply made and would not recommend.

The idea of this toy is great. It is not as sturdy as I had hoped, especially for the price. Hopefully it will hold up better than it looks. We've only had it a couple of days and it was bought for an 11 yr old so I am concerned about the durability.

great idea..but it does not stay assembled very well. and the motor is WAY too loud. very dissapointed. i may try to tape the backboard to the framing so it will stay together. but its so loud that i will move to the basement.

It's pretty cool to have the ball come shooting back to you, but the motor is super loud!

Makes playing with it not quite as fun.

This toy is a lot of fun but boy is it loud. It's really about the same volume as an outboard motor and even your most ardent basketball addicted kid won't be able to stand more than about 15 minutes of this droner.

Loved the idea of it, and had high hopes for this toy.
Broke when I was hanging it up. Becareful with the cheap plastic.
Still managed it prop the basket up, and 3yr old played with for an hour. He loves when the ball shoots out at him.
Basket kept falling down, and now the broken toy is laying in a closet.
Can't wait until they make a higher quality basketball catch-and-shoot game.

My son is an absolute basketball fanatic! and he will make the game out of anything (including a cardboard box taped up on the wall) I thought this toy would be a good rainy day alturnitive for his bedroom.. well I was wrong, it was cool for him at first, but than again it was better than a box, but the fans are load on it, and you don't have to options to turn off the sound effects, witch got his big brother made when he tried to watch some TV along while he played with it, you can not play it when its not turned on b/c it won't give the ball back, well once it ran out of batteries, the boys of course tried to alter the toy and now it is broken so sorry to say it but it's not a lasting toy.
