New twists on classic tracks...,

When this album came out, heads had only gotten a taste of the Black Moon. A few years after the release of "Enta Da Stage", came this uniquely appropriate ablum. One thing about the B.C.C, they have (well, HAD) one of the greatest production teams of the early to mid 90's; Da Beatminerz. So it was only right to remix hits after hits. In my eyes, I see this release as more of an EP, rather than a full LP, where more than half the tracks are remixes of "Enta Da Stage" hits. In fact only 5 are original songs. For one thing, the U Da Man Remix (track #5) feat. Smif-N-Wessun is one of my favorite B.C.C tracks. It's absolutely captivating. Bottom Line: A perfect album for any fan of Black Moon or the B.C.C. 3 1/2 stars. Peace.

This is one of the best albums I have ever heard. I'm glad them and the Roots are still keeping it real. Buckshot's grimy rap style is addictive as a drug. Evil Dee has untouchable beats and 5ft. plays Pippen to Buckshot's Jordan. Best tracks are "Murder mc's"(worth the album's price alone), "Six feet deep", "Buck em down" and "Son get wrec".

Usually remix/b-side joints are okay at best. This one blew it out the box. This album was released shortly after Black Moon broke up and Smif-n-Wessun left Nervous Records. At the time of the release, the BCC fans gave the disc a thumbs down. Now that the dust has settled, this one's been looked at as a great companion to "Enta Da Stage." This is a great collection of B-sides and remixes, including the remix of "I Got Cha Opin" and "Buck 'Em Down."
My only beef and the reason I didn't buy it when it first came out 10 years ago... "Reality (Killin' Every Ni@@a)" was not on the LP. If that song was on there, this LP would be even crazier, but nonetheless IT'S STILL SOLID!!! Grab ya' Tims and ya' hoodies and remember what "representing" was really about!
