poorly-executed 'hood flick,

Okay, there was a funny line here: "Yo mama's so dumb, when she filled out a job app, under 'sign here' she wrote 'Capricorn'!" Otherwise, this is a huuuuuuge thumbs down!This could have been an interesting meditation on the lottery and its allure among economically-strapped people. However, like Apatow's movies and many others, the women are hotties and the men are from the kennel. One dude had all kinds of craters on his face. Another dude had a drooping jaw, bad teeth, the whole nine! He looked worse than Li'l Wayne (if such a thing were possible)! The film starts with characters who are supposed to be old men. But did they hire older, male actors? Nope. They took guys in their 20s and put gray dye on their hair. This part reminded me of an Eazy-E or NWA song that starts off with the rappers pretending to be old. Unfortunately, I have a lot of time to kill in my life, so that's how I ended up seeing this. If you're a person with lots of important things to do, please don't waste your time seeing this stinker! |
