I bought the battery as a backup for the one that came with my Canon G2, and it has been working great so far =)My only complain is that the dimensions of the batt do not exactly match that of the battery compartment... it's a few mm too wide to slide in and out comfortably, but its not that much of a hassle. At the price, u can't ask for more!

Bought this for my G2 after the Canon battery went dead around 18 months. This Digicom battery works great and fits perfectly in the camera. Would definately recommend.
