These little speakers are great! I was just using some extra money on a gift card and decided to order these. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they sound... Obviously, they don't sound like Bose speakers, but then again, they are 1% of the cost... I actually liked them so much I order 2 more sets as backups... They are great for us to take on vacation to the beach, take out on our deck and by the pool.... we have a lot of fun with them. The battery life is good, the only draw back is they do not come with an AC Adaptor. Other than that, I think this is a great product for the price....

As I bobbed my head along to the rich, clear, and loud beats from these speakers, I decided it's only fair to write a review for them.

They sound just as good as my HP entertainment laptop speakers, as they deliver almost the same volume as my laptop. The other thing I like about the digilife speakers is that they have low distortion; you don't get the tinny/scratchy noise unless you turn the volume all the way up.

These speakers are so portable, I can fit them into my purse so that I can use them whenever a good music opportunity may arise.

There are two things I do not like about the speakers, however. First, it doesn't come with an AC adapter. That would come in handy when my AAA batteries die. Nonetheless, the battery life on the speakers seems to be quite good. Second, the speakers have a little blue light on top near the power button. The light stays lit when the the speaker power is on, and it's annoying to see the blue light shining if I'm in a dark room.

Despite these minor flaws, if you're trying to decide if these speakers are too cheaply-priced to waste your time buying them, let me just say: buy them! For the price, they are certainly well worth it.

***A tip to get the best sound from the speakers is to turn the volume on your iPod all the way up, and then adjust the speaker volume to whatever you prefer.

Sometimes the iPod's headphones/earbuds just won't do (especially if you are sharing the music with others).

Compared to other iPod accessories, the Digilife Fold-Up Compact Speakers are very cheap. But the quality is a little better than what you'd expect. Depending on the environment, the sound is good -- like a small portable radio. It's easy to pack, and adds much to the car or the hotel room or the campsite!

This is possibly the best $5 speaker system ever! I just got this for my 14th birthday using a $20 gift card. The sound is just like a normal computer's sound, there is no metallic sound that you can sometimes get with these kind of speakers. I plug this into my laptop because it is better than my normal speakers. The only real problem is the removable ipod tray needs to be slipped in backwards when you fold the speakers up, blocking the audio cable. Overall, this is a great product for the little money it costs (of course it is not nearly as good as a $100 speaker system).

I love it too... I bought 25 speakers, and I didnt think that for 1.44$ I will take that speakers... I love the sound, the color all of this speaker... its very confortable and fashion

My friend owns a set of these and it is true, they sound great. The beef I have with them is that they only work with USB ipods. I know I am a dying breed, but my iPod only works with a firewire cable, thus I am not able to use these speakers. Good thing they were so cheap, I ended up giving them to a friend with no real regrets. Just wish I'd known ahead of time.

I am pleased with the sound quality. I just wanted something that sounded half decent so I could listen to my iPod instead of a cd player. It did not come with an ac adapter - I wish this was an option when buying it. I also am disappointed with the "dock". I have a nano and it fits in the allotted space IF IT IS NOT PLUGGED INTO THE SPEAKERS. Because the plug is on the bottom of the iPod, it can't sit nicely in the dock area. It still works though - thus the three stars.

These are a great value. The sound is great. I bought two; one for my sister and one for my mom, then I bought another for myself to use on my computer.

Well I absolutely loved these speakers for the first month when they played my music much better than my iPod Touch did, but after about a month it would start playing the music good for like 30 seconds and then the music would sound scratchy and blotchy. I will say I used them a lot which may have contributed to this, but I'm disappointed that they didn't last that long. Now I just play my music straight from my iPod until I can find a trustworthy speaker system. Buy carefully.

I purchased I used a little and worked good no complaint especially for this price.
