4.0 out of 5 stars Digimon (Vol. 4)
I was kind of surprised to discover that this is the fourth volume of the VHS series. They skipped the rest of the Devimon and Etemon sagas, as well as the most of the Myotismon saga. Maybe Saban just wanted to focus on the more climactic pats of the series? We may never know. As for the video itself, however, it rocks! The three episodes on the tape are "Wizardmon's...

1.0 out of 5 stars This sucks!!!
digimon is so weak and it's to boyish. at least pokemon has a real story. All the characters are annoying. And the digimon are stupid.

4.0 out of 5 stars Digimon (Vol. 4), November 2, 2001

Maybe Saban just wanted to focus on the more climactic pats of the series? We may never know. As for the video itself, however, it rocks! The three episodes on the tape are "Wizardmon's Gift", "Prophesy", and "The Battle for Earth". The three episodes make up the tail end of the Myotismon saga, and features the big fight with Myotismon and his evolved form of VenomMyotismon. A very action packed video!

5.0 out of 5 stars Digimon Rock, October 4, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Digimon - The Digidestined Child [VHS] (VHS Tape)
In "A Clue From The Digi-Past", Izzy and Mimi are in a temple where Unimon is controlled by a black gear. They destroy it and find Leomon. Izzy and Mimi use their digivices to free him from Devimon's control. In "The Dancing Digimon" Joe and Sora are lost where Bakemon are trying to fight. Joe uses mind over matter to beat Bakemon. In "DigiBaby Boom" T.K. is left alone where Elecmon lives. Patamon and Elecmon have a tug-of-war contest and Patamon wins. T.K. learns how every Digimon was born. Highly recomended for any true Digi-fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Myotismon Trilogy, December 2, 2000
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Digimon - The Digidestined Child [VHS] (VHS Tape)
In the first episode, Wizardmon's Gift, You'll get to experience not only the end of Myotismon, but also the start of Angewomon. In the second part, witness the beggining of the mega(or as Izzy calls them, Mega Ultimates)forms. It's WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon vs. VenomMyotismon in "The battle for earth".

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Episodes For Those Familiar with the Story, July 13, 2004
By

I find it very odd that so many episodes were skipped in between the last video and this one. However, as long as you are already familiar with the events of the series, that does not detract from the enjoyment of these three episodes.
If you are unfamiliar with Digimon beyond having seen the videos prior to this one, then I can't honestly recommend this video, It doesn't catch you up to speed as to what has happened in past episodes, and you'll be quite lost.
But for anyone who was a loyal viewer, these will be recognized as some of the episodes that were most eagerly awaited, and a pivotal point in the series. They hold all of the adventure and emotion that Digimon is known for.

5.0 out of 5 stars From a UNIVERSITY student, May 29, 2004
Hey College Student, I've got news for you: Digimon can't be a "rip-off of Pokemon" because Digimon was created before Pokemon as the next generation of Tamagotchi, the original virtual pet, in Japan. Try learning the facts before you spread your ignorance over the net. You are an embarrasment to college students and to your entire species.
That being said, I wish that this VHS had episode 29 because ABC Family cut out any mention of the "Hightonview Terrace terrorist attack" in its broadcast. But it doesn't. Life goes on...

4.0 out of 5 stars Myotismon's Destiny, September 5, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Digimon - The Digidestined Child [VHS] (VHS Tape)
That is better name for it, becuase its mostly about a prophecy and defeating Myotismon/VenomMyostimon. And, not the 8 Child. That is only a very small part. The rest of the children find out who it is at the begin, the others already know. The search for the child is already over, but it begins the conlusion of battles with Myotismon.

5.0 out of 5 stars NICE!!!, May 12, 2008
This review is from: Digimon - The Digidestined Child [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I pity the fool who don't like Digimon!! This tape is great! Sure, it skipped a lot between the last one, but these episode kick @$$! The best thing about it is when Gatomon digivolves into Angewomon, and incinerates Myotismon. The one thing I don't like is the cliff hanger at the end when they return to the Digital world and the tape cuts off. Great product! BUY IT....NOW!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE TK!, October 1, 2000
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Digimon - The Digidestined Child [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is my favorite digi-video 'cause it's got an ep' featuring T.K.! He's so funny! And the only thing i DON'T like about T.K. is that his hat makes looklike NAPOLEON! Maybe some sense hit him in DIGIMON SEIRES TWO because he got rid of that hat and got one that looks much better!

Who would have believed that a 38 year old biologist and college instructor could become "hooked" on Digimon? But strange things do happen! I found this video to be throughly entertaining, so much so that after watching it at a friend's house, I am going to purchase it so I have my own copy! Awesome action! Gatomon rules!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice show, but there are better ones coming up..., October 10, 2001

This was truly a volume that can't be missed. The Digidestined try to save Earth and it turns out to be the biggest battle of their lives when VenomMysotismon attacks. Even though there are only WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, they do very good. But I'm not telling you wether they'll win or not because this movie's too good to tell you!
