The DSC-T9 requires "infoLithium" battery. The battery will fit in the T9, but upon power-on, camera will display error message and shut down.

Once I put this battery in, my pictures began coming out with a pinkish tint. Furthermore, I sometimes see "snow" on my screen when trying to take pics. I recommend buying the Sony battery.
