I've had this item on my aquarium for several years and it provides accurate temperature readings. I accidentally dropped it in the tank for a second one day, and, of course it stopped working. Assuming it was fried, I ordered a second one from Amazon. It is so inexpensive, I did not think twice about. However, I now have an extra thermometer, because, after the waterlogged one dried out, it works just fine again; only cleaner. Can't beat that!

I love it, came in a lot quicker than expected. It's a lot better than the old thermometers. It's digital so if you're trying to do a water change and need to see the temperature of the water then just stick this baby in the water and its quick and easy. It's small, and doesn't take up much space at all. I love it.

I bought two of these, and they work well, but there is a 1 deg F difference between both of them, so I am not sure which is right but if one degree accuracy is good enough for you this is a perfect little product at a cheap price. BTW it seems to take at least one minute between samples so dont expect sudden changes if you put it in the palm of your hand or in ice water. Thats a good quality if your using it on Aquariums or anything involving live animals.

Bought two of these. I'm slways sckeptical of accuracy of any measurement device. I put both thermometers in a ice water bath to compare readings. One read 31.2 deg the other read 30.8. I was actually surprised that the readings were so close. That's not bad and as good as comparing two identical standard mercury thermometers

I bought 4 of these little units. One for use as a temperature sensor for my truck. As it gets colder I like to know what the temp is when I'm driving.

I should have started by saying that I ordered the 4 units at 6:51pm [pst] and received them just 2 days later. Great company, great deal, fast and attentive shipping department. I will now look to their company first when shopping.

I have 2 units checking the temp in 1 small space and they are only off by 00.2 or 2 tenths of a degree. Pretty darn good for a $5 item.

I have two...one at each end of our leopard gecko's tank. That way we can check the cool side and the warm side. This makes life so much easier than trying to guess what those crappy circular thermometers with some kind of spring-like metal spiral on the back are reading.i have double checked the readings of these thermometers with my meat thermometers and candy thermometer and they are accurate.

I received this thermometer less than a week ago, so I can not vouch for it's durability. It started reading the temperature right away. The probe was easy to place and stays put. I solved the problem with the suction cup not holding the thermometer well, by replacing it with a Velcro Strip. My problem with it is not being able to read the dial clearly unless there is good light. It would be a lot better if the dial display was blue,red,green or some other color than black. The black on gray background is hard to read and can only be read well with good lighting.

I've had this item for about almost a month and to me it's great. I turn it on in the morning to check the temperature and then also check it at night. So far the temperature it's telling me is pretty good. My temperature reads between 77.5 - 79.6 and everything in my tank seems to be fine. My fishes are active and my plants are doing well. So I would say that this thermometer is working the way I expected it to work.

I recommend this thermometer to anyone that is looking for an affordable digital thermometer. Definitely better than the floater thermometers.
