$3.00?!?! Are you kidding me? Buy it. A digital signal is a digital signal is a digital signal whether you get it through a ridiculous "Monster" cable or a cheap one like this. Don't waste your time looking at the expensive stuff.

Expensive cables matter if you are connecting analog signals, but have absolutely no benefit on a digital signal.

As a college student, I'm always trying to have the latest tech gear. I have a new HDTV, an XBOX 360, and a surround sound system. The 360 is connected to the surround sound and HDTV, but the TV's sound needed a cable to connect it to the receiver. I looked at Best Buy and saw the "Monster" cables for around $60 and put the idea out of my mind. However, I came on here and found a couple cables. While I was in the checkout with another cable, I looked around a bit and found this one. It was only $2, so I took the plunge and bought it. It came in the mail and I set it up. It works just fine with the 5.1 Surround Sound system. Just plug it into the back of the TV and the digital coax plug in the receiver. It works great for me, and I'll bet it works just as well as the Monster one. If there's a cable cheaper than this, feel free to get it. If you feel like getting a more expensive one, get it. I can't stop you, but I would just go for the best deal. Either the cable works or it doesn't - there's no inbetween. This one works fine.

This digital coax cable is the real deal. When I swirched from an analog output to a digital output on my cable, I had to turn down my reciever! This does what it is supposed to do - carry the signal accurately. I'm going to buy a few more to keep if I ever need more - the price and quality are simply unbeatable.

I needed a longer coaxial cable and after checking out the local Circuit City and Best Buy I decided I just wasn't willing to pay $30 for it. After looking at Amazon I found this product and decided to give it a try. I am always somewhat hesitant to purchase budget AV cords, but have no regrets about purchasing this one. I don't notice any difference in sound quality from the better cord I had been using previously. I'm told that with this type of signal there really is no reason to worry about cord quality, but I don't understand the technology behind it all. All I know is this cord works great, is of good quality, and is dirt cheap!

I needed a digital coax cable to connect an Infinity TSS500 Satellite Speaker system sub-woofer to new Pioneer VSX-1020 Audio/Video receiver. Cable has performed as expected and did not see a reason to spend any more money to buy a brand name cable.

Finally hooked it up - - - Out goes the sounds from my TV to my Receiver And Wow what a difference, I like the sound and What else can you say But IT WORKS, So Buy it, it's cheap!!

Once again, the vendors on Amazon continue to deliver great value on cables.
For the inconvenience of waiting a day or two or three, you can save substantially over going to an electronics store.

This cable works great and I didn't have to take out a small loan to pay for overkill packaging and marketing hype. It transfers all the signals for all the speakers from my DVD player to my 5.1 receiver with no problems. I have yet to hear the much more expensive brand cables deliver that much more performance to justify their expense. If you are not using HDMI then get these cables for your system.

This is one of the better online purchases I have made lately. Fast shipment, low price, and great quality. Compare this cable to cables costing $20 and up. I use this cable between my new upconverting DVD player and my home stereo system. Clear, sharp sound makes us feel as if we are in a theater watching the movie. If you are watching your dollars and the quality of what you are buying, this is certainly one of the better buys out there.

High quality product, and the price is definately right! This is coming from an audiophile who loves his electronics. Highly recommended.
