This device also isn't comparable to window vista, I had to find windows xp or windows 98 to download stuff.

I bought this item as a gift for my sister, i bought her an identical one last year for christmas, and she loved it, but about mid november the power switch came out, so i bought her one again this year for christmas, and for a kid this is all the memory capacity you need for the number of songs, also the physical size is good as for keeping track of it, and it comes with ear buds so it is ready to use as soon as you stick some music on it, which is easier than an ipod (dont need itunes, just drag audio files onto it and its good to go!)

i docked a star since the last one only lasted a year, and the disc that came with it is worthless (website not working) but voerall it is great for a kid

So far I am very pleased with this product. I am looking for an MP3 for my 5 year old and to not want to spend the money on an Ipod. (She likes to use mine...hA!!) Anyway, downloading is going great. I am not following the instructions. I have Windows XP and Media Player 11 and everything is going well. My daughter will receive it on Christmas so we will see what she thinks. My husband and I hope it will be a good replacement for our Ipod. Yo will need to figure out the buttons before you give it to a young child though. There is not a screen to see what song is coming next and the player plays at random. I am still trying to figure out how to get it to play songs in order by artist??? The sound is great though!!
