I was hesitant about buying the mix max after reading mixed reviews, but decided to purchase it anyways for my 8 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. She absolutely loves it. This has far exceeded my expectations, and is a very nice and cheaper alternative to a video Ipod. I had a hard time downloading at first, but after some slightly extensive research have no problems anymore. I purchased a 2gig sd card for it, and have downloaded about 40-something songs, 15 videos, 1 full length movie, about 50 pics, and still have room for more. Great product for kids!

My daughter loved this for her birthday. I love the fact that it's disney music cards that she is listening to. The only con with this product is that their are no video clips available. Overall great product.

Actually bought this for my daughter. Her first one accidently decided to jump into her pocket and get washed! HA! She absolutely loves it. Great item for long distance train rides, car rides or any traveling for that matter.

This is a great product for the money. Very clear color screen for viewing...but I wish I could save a photo as the wallpaper. You can only scroll through or do a slide-show of the photos, not display one at all times.

Easy to operate for kids (I have an 8 yr. old) and easy for me to download. Use the Windows Media Player and you just drag and drop to sync, if you use itunes then you will have to change formats and it gets more complicated.

I also got the jam stand--great gifts for my daughter. I would definitely reccommend!

Very nice quality. My 8 year old loves it. It was definately worth the price. Much cheaper than an ipod and just as good quality.

First, if you have a Mac, then STAY FAR AWAY. This is horrific if you are using a Mac and trying to convert files. Even on our PC, my wife followed this very detailed document she found online (yes, online - not in the box) that showed her how to convert the file formats that we found online to the single format (WMV) that this thing supports for video. We loaded WMV files direclty purchased from reputable sites and it would not accept them, we tried using conversion tools and were able to get ONE movie to work after two hours. Audio also has its limits with the file formats.
In short, this was cute, and our kids loved having a little "iPod" like daddy, but in reality this is a joke. If you want you kids to have an iPod like experience, shell out the cash and get a low end music/audio player and accessorize it to look stylish. You might spend more cash, but at least not hours in front of a PC to make it work.

Overall just great and you can watch movies depending on th size of the movie.THUMBS UP.

I bought two of these media players for Christmas presents. The only thing that was a little disappointing is the other one I bought had games and this one doesn't. Still well worth the money paid. My 5 year old daughter loves it and she is able to use it fine. Easy to sync, easy to use.

I got this for my seven year daughter for a Christmas gift and I am so happy with this purchase! She likes having her own electronic gadget(in pink) and it's a better alternative than spending money on a portable DVD player or I-pod!

I purchased 2mix max sticks and 1 mix stick. Only 1 out of the 3 worked. With Digital Blue they have a no return, no refund, no exchanges policy. With the one that worked my daughter stepped on it and the screen cracked and now I dont have any! Bad experience!
