This is a nice looking camera on the website, but when we received it we could tell from the start it was very poor quality. The viewfinder is very dark and grainy, and even when outside the pictures are terrible. Our 5 year old daughter put it down and was ready for another camera. We are returning it.

Santa brought this camera to our 5-year-old princess fan and she loves it. It has been the gift that has kept on giving. Our little photog has enjoyed the camera as well as the software that was packaged in it. Although she needs assistance with the navigation of the software, she enjoys the creativity involved. This is a wonderful gift for a child that likes to borrow mommy's camera. Probably the best age is 5-8 years old. It is a simple digital camera, easy for a beginner. The picture quality is not the best, but ideal for a child. I have read that you lose your stored pictures if the batteries die- that has not happened, yet, so I don't know about that.

I bought this camera for my granddaughter, age 9. She wanted to start scrapbooking. On Christmas Eve I was so excited as she opened her gift - only to find after she had put in batteries and downloaded software on her PC - you cannot see through the viewfinder to even take a picture. I am returning this camera immediately for a full refund I HOPE.

Well I was really looking forward to this toy for my little girl but it turned out to be a waste of money. The quality of pictures it takes is complete garbage. For the price I could have gotten a real camera that takes quality photos. The plastic is cheap and is cracked all over already. Also the face is so small that her fingers were inevitably in the way of the lens or the flash. Having your picture taken non-stop all day long really blows when the pictures all turn out like crap.

The quality of pictures produced by this camera is surprisingly bad. Eighty to ninety percent of the pictures are so bad you cannot tell what is pictured. If you want a camera that has the Disney logo but takes horrible pictures then you're in luck. Otherwise, avoid this at all costs. Shame on Disney for putting their name on this thing.

The only plus is that after three years I just found this thing in the bottom of a toy bin, and it still takes pictures as horridly well as ever. At least it is durable. I'm about to see how it fares in the trash can, and good riddance.

Like the other reviewers, I find this camera not worth the money. We had hoped to find a relatively decent camera for our 7 year old who loves to take pictures. The pictures are so grainy and of poor quality that she doesn't want to print them. There is enough lag time that it can be tough to actually capture the intended photo (at least for kids). The camera gets stuck and we can't turn it off. Pictures do load very nicely to Iphoto though. In this day and age of digital photography, I can't believe there aren't kids' cameras that take decent pictures.

This is not your top of the line camera remember its only $20. I got this for my nieces birthday and she loves it oh and she's 6. The pictures are quality enough for her and it allows her to look like mom who takes pictures for a living.

I purchased this camera for my granddaughters 6th Birthday. She just asked for a digital camera. She absolutely loved it. The fact that it was Disney and princess made it all the better for her. My son put in the batteries read the software instructions and she has been taking pictures ever since. Her parents are going to set up an online photo album for her. I am so pleased with the purchase and my granddaughters reception of it. I highly recommend.
