Great Kids Camera,
By AmyT (Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Digital Blue Disney Pix Jr. Digital Camera - Disney Princess (Toy)
We got this camera for our 4yr old and she absolutely loves it. It took her about an hour to get used to what to do with it, but once she did, she is taking pictures of everything.A great feature is that you can add characters to the pictures. It's easy to turn on and off. The flash is always on, so pictures really close up will most likely be very bright. No matter though, just pull back some and the pictures are great. The camera will turn off after 1 minute of non-use, but turns back on easily with the touch of any button. Downloading the pictures is very easy. You can use the software that comes with the camera, or just plug it in to the USB port on the computer to transfer pictures. The quality is just fine for a 4 year old...in fact it was a little better even than we thought it would be. The LCD screen to view the pictures is just right for a 4yr old, however, it could probably crack or scratch easily if dropped. Also, there is only about a 2 second viewing window before you have to click in to the memory to view the pictures. Lastly, it's easy to delete pictures and this camera has a huge memory with even more possibility of adding an sd card(which we didn't really need at this point).

Best Kid Camera Out there. Guaranteed! A+,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I researched many, I mean many kids cameras out there for my 5 year old daughter as a Christmas present. She enjoyed using mine so much I had to get her own for her. Anyway, I did not want to get her an adult camera that would break easy. However, some of those "kid cameras" out there cost as much if not more than some of the adult cameras. After reading all the reviews I decided that I would take my chances on this one. Brand new it is running around $60. I think it is worth that much. I got mine refurbished for $7.49. Could not even tell. It looked brand new. This camera takes great pictures. Clear as can be. I would have to say probably the best kid camera out there by far. Only draw back I had, like other reviews out there on this camera, the flash is way too bright and close up pictures can be very over exposed. I did find a solution for this. I read one reviewer said they put black tape on half of the flash to take care of this problem. I did the same and now all the pictures come out perfect. If not for the flash problem I would have given this product 5 stars. Another nice little feature is they can take pictures with their favorite Disney character in them. Soooo....cute!

This review is from: Digital Blue Disney Pix Jr. Digital Camera - Disney Princess (Toy)
I purchased this camera on clearance at Target. I took a chance and I'm glad I did. For the price I paid, it is a great durable camera for my 4 year old. I don't worry about it dropping or getting knocked around. She loves shooting pics of everything and has fun adding the optional princess related backgrounds. We have yet to upload them to the computer and have them printed but I wasn't very interested in doing that when I purchased the camera anyway. Mostly she like to just shoot away. The screen is a live view so she doesn't have to put it up to her eye to take a picture. With moderate use the batteries lasted about a month so using rechargables might be a good idea. It is very easy to use and I suspect she will get better at taking pics, the more she uses it. I reccomend this camera for an alternate to the more expensive with not super reviews Fisher Price toddler camera.
