I needed a replacement charger for my Dad's sony camera. So I checked the model number on the battery. Sony wanted $60 for a new charger! So I went to amazon and found a compatible unit for way way less. It even has a car charging adapter included in the unit. I've had no problems with it on either mains power or in the car, and would suggest it to others that may be in a similar situation or just need another charger.

Perhaps it's bad luck, but this charger does not work at all on the original camera battery. It's dead after "charging" all night. Also the english on the box is horrible, meaning this product came off a Chinese assembly line with zero quality control. I got taken, so don't.

Should have read the reviews. This charger does not charge the battery. I charged the battery for about 30 hours and it is totally dead. Will be returning.
