The Digital Concepts Macro Filter Kit includes four close-up diopters at +1, +2, +4 and +10 magnification, and a durable carrying case. These filters simply screw onto the lens, and will maintain resolution and picture clarity while magnifying image size. Plus, these filters are double-threaded, which means you can combine them to achieve increased magnification, or you can attach additional optics such as polarizers or skylight filters. These macro filters are ideal for photographing small items and focusing in on details of coins, flowers, jewelry and insects, as well as industrial photos of miniaturized components, medical and dental laboratory work and other scientific photography.

I was a little hesitant at first, but went ahead and bought this product. I'm glad I did, it even came with a nylon carry case that all the lenses fit in. The only downside, you have to use the adapter, at least for my Nikon D40, I have left the adapter on my 18-55 lens with no problems so far. It works as advertised, in fact I have 'stacked' all the lenses and have taken several pictures with very good results.

I would recommend this product for a cheaper way of getting a macro lens.

I got my filter set today - 5 DAYS before the actual arrival date! It came complete and in excellent condition (bag and the 4 macro filters). I tried it initially on my 18-55 lens, and I had a slight panic attack, coz it was way out of focus, and wouldn't focus. Silly me, I should've known to read the insructions that came with - camera should be set at manual mode. That taken care of, I try it again, on my kit lens, the 50mm 1.8, then the 55-200, and I am very impressed. You can get close, REALLY close to your subject, especially once you start combining all the filters together. I'm glad I purchased these. For anyone who's on a very tight budget, this is the way to go. Highly recommended!

Item arrived very quickly! Although I would love to be able to buy a proper macro lens, I feel like this product is a good value for the money. I've had lots of fun playing around with these filters. They fit beautifully on my Nikon D40. They take some getting used to as they work like a magnifying glass, but I really love the results.
