The Vertical Grip/Battery Holder for Canon Digital Rebel XS/XSi/T1i is a powerful and versatile accessory holding up to 2 LP-E5 battery packs simultaneously to effectively double your shooting power, plus the grip includes a holder to use six AA batteries. In addition, the grip includes a vertical shutter release and a mode wheel to provide access to all of the camera functions and make shooting with the camera in a vertical position just as comfortable as shooting horizontally.

GOOD GRIP, GREAT PRICE,
This review is from: Digital Concepts Vertical Battery Grip for Canon Rebel XS / XSi / T1i Digital SLR Camera Kit (Electronics)
I ORDERED THIS THING ACCIDENTALLY BUT AFTER USING IT I DIDN'T WANT TO RETURN IT. I JUST WISHED I ORDERED THE PACKAGE DEAL THAT CAME WITH CLEANING KIT. THE GRIP FEELS GOOD (BETTER THAN THE CAMERA GRIP)AND YOU DON'T GET FEEL THAT IT WILL SLIP OUT OF YOUR HAND. IT HAS THE SAME BUTTONS AS THE CAMERA, IT HAS TWO TRAYS FOR AA AND CANON BATTERIES SO YOU CAN CHOOSE AND SAVE WITH USING THE CHEEPER AA BATTERIES OR HAVE BOTH TRAYS LOADED AND HAVE ENDLESS POWER. IT'S BUILT WELL ENOUGH, AND IT'S A MUST HAVE IF YOUR GOING AWAY TO OVER SEAS WHERE POWER CONVERSION MAY BE A PROBLEM. WITH THIS YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RUNNIG OUT OF BATTERY. I RECENTLY TOOK IT TO EUROPE FOR 1 WEEK VACTION AND KEPT USING IT FOR 2 WEEKS AFTER COMING BACK.
