5.0 out of 5 stars "Welcome to the world of FEAR FACTORY"
Over ten years ago Fear Factory dropped a bomb on the metal world, and it's never been the same since. This is a MUST HAVE for any FF fan, hardcore or not. Over 80 min. of the band, from a bunch of live performances, to videos, to the guys talking about their history, and just jokin' around. The live stuff isn't the best ever, but I don't know why everyone always...

3.0 out of 5 stars Only for the most die-hard FF fans...
I consider myself a huge fan of Fear Factory's music-they're one of my top 5 favorites, and that's from a collection of over 700 CD's. Demanufacture, Obsolete and Digimortal are without a doubt the best industrial metal out there.

I consider myself a huge fan of Fear Factory's music-they're one of my top 5 favorites, and that's from a collection of over 700 CD's. Demanufacture, Obsolete and Digimortal are without a doubt the best industrial metal out there.

That said, this DVD is interesting, but not something I'd want for repeat viewing. My main interest was the live clips, as I wanted to see what they were like live. I kind of wish I hadn't. The sound quality on the live clips is bootleg at best, probably because most of it came from fan shot video. While Ray and Dino are dead on with the guitar and drums live, the bass and vocals just weren't on in most of clips. It's a shame, because this band does some fantastic studio work, with the help of Rhys Fulber of course.

I find music videos in general uninteresting, and the interview parts are too few and far between to be worth the price.

This would be a great DVD for someone who has FF tattooed somewhere on their body, or someone who is obsessed with the band's members, but for those who like them mainly for their recordings, this may let you down a bit. At least it's better than the Type O After Dark DVD-that was a waste...

Over 80 min. of the band, from a bunch of live performances, to videos, to the guys talking about their history, and just jokin' around. The live stuff isn't the best ever, but I don't know why everyone always complains about the audio on bands live performances? The live songs on this are fine, I didn't even really notice if some of them were a little scratchy. When you're a fan, you put up with the little imperfections. This is an excellent DVD, no matter what anyone may say. WELL worth the money, you won't be disappointed. Truly, one of the greatest metal bands of all time, from their beginning to their untimely demise, these guys where in a class of their own! This is the real breed baby, you just don't hear stuff like this anymore:( There will never be another...FF forever!

5.0 out of 5 stars Live Show in your Living Room, April 9, 2002

Put this one in, turn it up and get ready to mosh. Fear Factory is one of the best bands of our generation. Every CD they have made has been the great, and this DVD just highlights the best songs off of each album. The highlights are the live footage of "Matyr" and "Edgecrusher", and all the music videos. This is almost as good as their live shows. Viewing this will make you want to see them in concert the next day. My only complaint is that it was only 2 hours long, I wish it was longer.

this dvd is a disappointment because of the horrible sould quality on most of the live performances, i couldnt' wait to get this dvd because fear factory is one of my fav bands and I was going to blast this on my surround sound and have my own mini fear fac concert at home but when i turned up the juice on demanufacture it sounded like [fecal matter]!!! maybe fear fac didn't have enough money to overdub the songs, who knows but its' just like some guy recorded the concert footage on his cheap camcorder, the interviews and the videos that are pretty cool though

Like me. I wanted a FF greatest hits and this dvd doubled as one with great visual accompaniement to boot. It's a pity there aren't any concerts released, not even bootlegs, so this is what there is, and it's quite good. Sometimes the band just don't own the rights to what TV channels or other people have recorded so they cannot put out a proper release and choose the ¨overview¨way. Too bad. Assembled chronologically in a semi-documentary manner, you can skip those parts and go straight to every song. 5 of the 13 live tracks have hideous sound and picture and the rest range from fair to mostly excellent. The 4 videos the band have are included and are superb, esp Lynchpin and Cars guesting Lord Gary Numan himself, what a treat !! The audio tracks are worthless IMHO and are from a rare and unreleased cd. Only real flaw is that the name of the songs aren't anywhere to be found on the menu so you have to guess unless you're a fan and familiar with them.80' Bargain bin fodder my friends. Get it CHEAP only.

5.0 out of 5 stars Digital Connectivity: Connect Now, March 4, 2005

This DVD is a gem, yes there may be a small number of imperfections but the footage and the clips make up for any disappointment. This DVD shows the evolution of this industrial metal group. Fear Factory have been around for now 12 years and with their release of their latest offering 'Archetype', this band will be around for some more time to come. Overall this DVD is a pearler.

The entire FF music video clips are included here in this package including 'Replica', 'Cars', 'Linchpin' (my favourite). It also includes 8 extra audio tracks which are B-Sides or unreleased studio demos. There is a section called Evolution - that runs through the first 10 years of the band's history from concept to worldwide touring. Even some footage from 2001 Australian Tour is in here.

The full FF discograpy is included from their very first CD to their EP's and Singles. This is a rare treat and the DVD offers so much. The weblinks and online photo galleries showing the evolution of the FF Logo is amazing as well.

There are live performances of FF songs from worldwide concerts such as 'Martyr', 'Scumgrief', 'Demanufacture', 'Shock', 'Edgecrusher', 'Damaged' and 'Digimortal'.
