4.0 out of 5 stars Good watch for the price
Just got this watch today. The watch is reasonably well made, got a plastic back and a cheapo plastic crystal, but nevertheless seems pretty solid. I think I might dare going swimming in it. Everything seems to function well, the light works, the radio synchronization works, the sound is loud enough and the display is easy to see and read. This watch does have the 24 hour...

3.0 out of 5 stars Big Digit Men's Atomic Watch
The digits are large and easy to read if your vision is not well. It is easy to manually get the time signal. It only automatically does this once a day at 2 AM. It also does not offer a 24 hour or date, month, year formats. The stopwatch and countdown timer work well. The instruction manual does not include a warranty or repair information. This review is from: Global Atomic Digital Watch Multi Band Rado Controlled with 1/100sec Chronograph, 24 Time Zone, Daily Alarm, 24-hour Timer, Auto Leap Year and EL backlight

It also does not offer a 24 hour or date, month, year formats. The stopwatch and countdown timer work well. The instruction manual does not include a warranty or repair information. The back light is average. With all the pluses and minuses this watch, for a low vision person, is at best average.

Everything seems to function well, the light works, the radio synchronization works, the sound is loud enough and the display is easy to see and read. This watch does have the 24 hour display, press "mode" button for 3 seconds to turn on. I shows the date as NOV-05-2009 which is a pity, as I usually know what month it is, but I look at my watch to make sure I got the month number right. A big plus for this watch is that it has a 24 hour timer - non of the new Casios have it which is absolutely unacceptable in my book (and this is why I did not get a similar Casio). The watch is larger than what I am used to but it sits very comfortably on my wrist. I took a look inside the watch and everything seems solid in there too. I think this watch will last me a while, probably longer than some of the more expensive watches I had and which did not live up to the expectations.
