I wanted tv in my garage and didn't want to run cable from the house, So I figured I try something cheap, not expecting to much. I was pleasantly surprised. I received almost 30 channels including local stations. I'm very happy. I gave it 4 stars because the antenna is a very light weight aluminum, and remote is spotty. but excellent picture quality. 5 stars to customer service for dealing with FED-EX for damaged and delayed delivery. -laurie

I purchased this antenna with a power rotatory and converter box for HDTV signals. It worked okay for the first couple of months, but I started having issues. The first being the antenna started to rust outdoors in Florida weather near the ocean. This is a common problem here, so I disassembled it and painted the entire antenna and sealed everything with silicon for additional protection. Within 10 months, the motor that rotated the antenna failed completely. Thus requiring me to run outside and turn the antenna when changing channels. The convertor box started failing after 12 months. Add to that the included IR remote receiver (also the motor controller and amplifier) the power supply failed making the antenna useless. It will not work without the IR/amp/Controller. No problem I thought, until I discovered you can't find the 17 vac Chinese made power supply anywhere in the US or online.

I have since trashed the entire package and replaced it with an indoor "Rabbit Ear" style antenna from Walmart. The thing is for about $12, I found one that has worked as well and better than this antenna I invested around $140 in. And if the table top one breaks (which I have replaced one broken aerial with a spare I had), I'm out only $12 in lieu of $100 plus.

Great Bargain!

Converter box has lots of great features; favorites, channel skip, signal strength, auto clock, etc.

Picked up 42 channels. The remote control on the antenna worked great.
No directions in the antenna assembly box, especially where to hook the antenna wires and had to use the picture on the box.

The warranty only lasted ninety days. The control buttons started to malfunction a month after I purchased it.. Also, it started to lose channels. When I depressed the volume button, it turned off the box. In short. A waste of my money

Took a little bit of time to assemble. Not bad. Was able to assemble, install and use in one evening. The remotes seem a bit low quality but every thing worked great. I was even able to dial in the antenna with the signal strength indicator run two non digital TVs off the converter and tee off to other newer TVs before the converter. I live in a remote wooded area and was still able to pick up 8 digital channels and a few regular channels with this antenna.

I bought this package and it worked for a while then started having problems with the whole
unit system. The antenna stopped moving and the converter had problems.

This all started to happen within 2 months, I finally got the seller to agree to send me a shipping
label and I sent it all back.

I finally went and bought a UHF-VHF 75 mile range Radio Shack antenna and a HD channel
converter and I decided to buy a longer pole to set the antenna on and I have been a happy
camper since.
In my area I didn't need to rotate an antenna do to all the networks were South of me in West
Palm Beach Florida.
This is without a doubt the way to go trust me on this comment.

Motor always needs to be nudged. You cannot put on a rooftop as you will need to access it to nudge for rotation. Recieves 3 of available 5 signals in my area. I believe the 50-60 mile away antaneas cannot be picked up.

This product arrived in good shape, and as described. The outdoor antenna is a bit flimsy, and I am not so sure it will be able to handle the strong storms we endure regionally. Other than that, the convertor box brings me in a nice, crisp picture.
