About the Author

David Pellerin and Michael Holley, staff engineers at Data I/O Corporation, were both members of the original design team that produced ABEL. They have each been with Data I/O for more than a decade, and have extensive knowledge of logic design and computer-aided design tools. Pellerin is currently developing enhancements to the ABEL language, while Holley is working to develop software, methods, and applications for users of FPGA devices. They are the authors of Practical Design Using Programmable Logic.
