This review is from: Dual Digital Display PID Temperature Controller. Great for Sous vide
As I wrote in my previous review, this controller works very well and I keep ordering them for our lab for the past couple of years (so far we have 7 of them). As a professional user I rate this controller 5 start. It is very satisfying for a general users who want to build their small projects. However, for professional users who want to collect data using DAQboard and Labview software, it is better to know that the output voltage signal of its thermocouple has a some noises when the relay or SSR triggering (so far we have lived with these noises). Bottom line is that what you get worth way more than what you pay on this product.

The controller arrived earlier than promised. The model was marked JLD612 while the photo was of a TET612, but the two models appear identical, except for the name of one of the PID parameters. There was no manual enclosed with the device. I used a manual for the TET612 downloaded from the internet, and had no issues setting the controller for use with a SSR and an "in-tolerance-range" LED wired using both alarm relays (the application was temperature control of an espresso machine with a J thermocouple). The default PID parameters did not work, but using auto tune to let the controller choose adequate parameters resulted in a +/-1F process control.
