I have been a Joust fan for decades, I wasted countless quarters in the original machine and have bought virtually every adaptation I could over the years.

I was a smidge disappointed in the Xbox360 port - the controls seem a little bit sluggish, which is kind of surprising given the original vintage of the game and the hardware it ran on.

It's not horrible, it's just that sometimes I feel like there's too much delay between when the button is pressed and the wings flap, which is a critical disadvantage in this game.

We plan to buy an inexpensive 'retro' joystick for the 360, and we're hoping that will fix some of the control issues, but this is still a winner and worth the pittance it costs to get on your machine!

This is a great classic for XBLA. Fun and very addictive. 1 thing will piss you off is that FREAKIN pterodactyl. There is actually an achievement for jousting him in the (throat or mouth), I swear it's pure luck though. I must of tried to kill him or them 50 times before getting it.

Great game and worth buying from amazon. Never buy from Microsoft or order a block of points that you don't need.
