OK, I got one of these for xmas. Kind of neat but I know others who are having trouble. First of all the resolution is why I gave it 4 stars not 5. The resolution could be better its like a cell phone as other reviews have stated. The real problem here is the directions. They are poorly written. When moving a picture to the menu to then load it into your pocket viewer is where all the troubles seem to start. The directions seem to just stop at that point. So read several times and you'll get it. There's a button in the upper right hand corner of the screen you need to click on called "synchronize" you must click on it to load the selected picture into your viewer. This info is for Windows users. Mac is different and I have no knowledge of it. After you get the hang of it its a kind of a neat item to carry to show others pictures of the family, home, kids etc. Hope this helps. Also charging through the AC adapter is much faster then the USB port on your computer. It comes with stuff to do either one you choose.

The display of this keychain is pretty nice for its size. It looks like there is limited color depth available, but the images end up looking nice all the same. The menu interface on the keychain is a little hard to use because it just has the menu button and forward/back buttons. Also, you have to use the provided software, which means you must have Windows. It would be better if it allowed straight transfer of images instead of forcing you to use the software. The software itself lacks polish, windows can't always be resized. Again, this device would be great if users could bypass having to use the included software to load images.

Purchased as a Christmas present I found the Digital Foci pocket album easy to use. The contrast display in the LCD could be a bit better but it works. I believe most people are used to high resolution displays now and expect that same display when these types of products are purchased. The software is decent and transferring pictures is simple enough. I do wish it showed a thumbnail view of the picture prior to transferring, instead of having to click on each individual file name. I have 1000's of pictures and I don't name each and every one. Very nice gift. My wife loved it. She takes it to work and shows off her recent pics. It has a slide show option and it's easy to operate and the photo quality is really pretty good.

The software was easy to use and the keychain does hold a high number of pictures. The slide-show option is very handy. The picture resolution is equivalent to a cell-phone, so do not get your hopes up. If the resolution was a little bit better, I would give five stars.

This is a great gift. I gave it to my husband on Father's Day and he really enjoys it. It is a fun twist on wallet photos. Uploading the pictures is relatively easy. The only downfall is that it does have to be recharged frequently and so far it seems like you have to reset the clock and timer on it each time you recharge it.

I gave this item as a gift to my wife, after reading other Amazon reviews, so we could load our son's wedding pictures on it. The instruction provided were clear and the software worked very well. Pictures were easy to load, and no problems were noted. I would recommend this to any body.

I purchased the Digital Foci Pocket Album 1.5" Keychain Digital Photo Viewer (Silver) a few weeks ago. Because I was busy, I just now got around to trying to use it. After I struggled with the hard plastic shell packaging, I started to read the directions. I had the pocket album, the USB cord, the USB-AC adapter--but no software!!
I tried using the email the manual gave for technical support, but Explorer said there was no such address. I was doing this on a weekend, and, naturally, no one answered the phone at the company. So I really cannot review the product because the software was not included. I'm hoping I can get it without a hassle. On their general website, they said that products packaged in hard plastic cannot be returned if they have been opened. I'm not sure how you're supposed to know if something is missing or defective if you don't open the package. I hope this story has a better ending than beginning. I'll write an update when I know how it turns out.

The low price for this item was great. However, the instructions that came with it were not especially clear, and, it was difficult initially to get it recognized by my computer (and other computers as well). But, once I was able to upload pictures to the unit it performed well. For the low price, however, its difficult to complain too much.

This turned out to be too small for presenting images to show off our grandchildren. The user interface wasn't great either. I returned it.
