Go Pro Digital Hero VGA All-Season Sports Camera

I originally bought this camera mainly because it was considerably less than buying a waterproof enclosure for my primary digicam. This camera is pretty good considering it's size (it's slightly bigger than a matchbox) and it's price, but it's not exactly a 6MP digicam either. However, it more than adequately serves the niche market the manufacturer is catering to -those don't necessarily want to make prints and just want to take some basic photos they and their friends can laugh over via a website, without worrying that their AUD$500-$1K digicam will be destroyed in the process.

It should also be noted that I'm not an expert photographer, and in many situations I was trying to quickly take the photo before the wind flipped me. However, it does appear that the goPro digital is mainly useful for upclose photos, rather than long distance.
