very helpful book for digital design!,
By julia "julia" (Califorlia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: CMOS Digital Integrated Circuits Analysis & Design (Hardcover)
The author has done a good job in explaining all the intricate details of synthesizing ASIC's in deep sub-micron realms. I would recommend this to every ASIC design engineer.

No other book gives a more effective treatment of the subject. A thorough explanation of the basics followed by a stepwise approach towards advanced topics. Thanks Kang and Leblebici for coming up with such a great book.

A Leblebici student,
By Jay Bose (Worcester, Massachusetts, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: CMOS Digital Integrated Circuits Analysis & Design (Hardcover)
I own the book... in fact, I took the class Leblebici wrote the book for! Leblebici is a very good teacher and the book is a must for all EE students studying VLSI design. It teaches concepts well without wordy, hard to understand passages. The useless "paragraphs of eqations" found in other engineering books are replaced with meaningful examples.

My favorite textbook,

This review is from: CMOS Digital Integrated Circuits Analysis & Design (Hardcover)
This is my favorite microelectronics textbook. (Out of the 5 or six that I've read.) It is very simple and straightforward material. When I need a microelectronics reference, this is the first book I look at.The one improvement I would like to see is a better chapter written about SPICE modeling.

This is a hard cover book in very good conditions. The price was a little high for not being the last edition, but it was a reasonable price.

It's really an excellent book, analysis and design of CMOS digital ICs are covered into detail, and theoritical considerations are complete ... mathematical description is detailed and analysis is done into details too. Excellent graphics and layout(but no colors). Th only thing is that th price is really too high .... maybe it is worth that it was a color graphic book at this point, looking at this exaggerating price....
Last thing the book is 655 pages and not 1002 pg. Although it's an excellent textbook for anyone interested in th field of Digital CMOS design
