In the time that I have had HipHop Ejay6, I have created 2 full songs and am still working on a 3rd song. I personally enjoy them to the extent that a musician can agreable enjoy his/her own music. However, I had to discover most, if not all, of the techniques and tools provided to successfully make music. HipHop Ejay6 doesn't come with anywhere near a complete "user-guide" to guide you through the music making process. All features are not explained thoroughly neither are they sufficient. HipHop Ejay5, which my good friend has, actually in my opinion was better in most regards. HipHop Ejay6 desperately needs a user-guide because it isn't that simple to just CREATE music as they say it is.

ONLY 8 Bars to record at a time, man that's lame. What's with all the complicated screens, it should supply its own computer geek with the software. Ejay 4 was much better! I would have enjoyed it more if it were a little easier to use and understand. Don't waist your time!

This is my first time using this software. It allowed me to create my own music even if I wasn't planning on going big. I enjoyed mixing beats and sampling from CDs. It is a great product to have.

don't buy this weak fake garbage...get a real program like reason..because this right here is trash

THIS HAS NOT BEEN USED YET. IT IS FOR CHRISTMAS. I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT BEFORE. YOU CAN LET YOUR CREATIVE JUICES GO WILD!!!!IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE WITH MUSIC IN THEIR HEAD , THIS IS PERFECT.

Its good program to make beats. the only thing bad about it it takes along time to load. but other than that its a good program.

I really appreciate Ejay Hip Hop 4 and what it does for me. Its everything I thought it would be. I would recommend this program to anyone.

I've been using ejay hip hop software since version 1 and almost quit using it after all the bugs in hip hop 5. But it's all fixed in hip hop 6. There are some drawbacks, you really have to read the help files as they have overly complicated things in hip hop 6. They took away the ability to just use your mouse and drag to the sample down to a smaller size, instead you have to either open the clip editor and use the silence shortcuts on your keyboard or open up the "volume curve control" and draw out the undesired piece. This feature can be a benefit though, you can draw out pieces in the middle of a sample while keeping end pieces. The included samples are decent, and most of the other features work pretty nice too. I give it four stars for overcomplicating things, other than that, great software.

this product runs the slowest out of all of them. I tried to run it on my laptop but it would just lag to much. so then I decided to run it on my newest computer, just got it in 2006 and it is designed for gaming but it was still to slow. The software is to advanced for what you are really here for. It focuses on to many things other than making music. Although it is a little more advanced than the other ones but the beatz are kinda soft. They could have made it a little harder. But over all i recamend hip hop ejay 5. Probably the most advanced but simplest to use and good sound quality out of all of them.

I've had the past 5 versions of this but have recently switched to a Macintosh and am completely unable to run any of the past 5 versions or this new one. Why? Make a Mac version, bottom line.
